As the Ben Stelter School Fundraiser (BSSF) aims to expand their reach, the organization has launched a new sponsorship program for 2026.
“Working with local, national & international brands helps give our team professional experience, expands our network and the donations bring us one step closer to bringing Proton Beam Therapy to Canada.” says Aariz Mawji, Director and Founder of the Ben Stelter School Fundraiser.
97% of all money from donations and sponsorships directly contribute to the organization’s cause. Additionally, the BSSF’s sponsorship program includes three tiers of sponsorship opportunities.
The Community Sponsorship, priced at $5000 or via Prize Sponsorship, supports the fundraiser primarily through prize funding to raise student engagement. As an incentive, Community Sponsors receive promotional exposure and visibility through the BSSF site, news site, donation page, social media shoutouts, and acknowledgement at major events, including the BSSF McDavid assembly.
The Gold Sponsorship, priced at $12,500, plays a major role in supporting the execution of the fundraiser. Gold Sponsors will receive additional prominence in promotional visibility through the placement of their logos on websites and donation pages. Additionally, they will receive a VIP McDavid Assembly experience, featuring a photo opportunity with Connor McDavid and a signed Oilers jersey.
The Title Sponsorship is the largest partnership opportunity with the BSSF, priced at $25,000. Title sponsors, supplementary to the previously mentioned sponsorship incentives, also receive a “Brought to you by” title at the top of the BSSF site, logos on news site articles, a company mention in social media bios, and special recognition in dedicated shoutouts.
“The BSSF Sponsorship Program is important because it offers companies the chance to get directly involved with the school fundraiser.” says Alex Sokolovski, Director of Marketing of the BSSF. “We are estimating that if all sponsorship slots are filled, we may get $112,000 through prize and financial sponsorships this year.”
Driving forward their goal of bringing Proton Therapy to Canada, the BSSF’s sponsoring program serves as a catalyst for further impact.
